We are an independent, self-organized community focused on political action and education on Israel Palestine.
We stand on the values of Standing Together—the largest grassroots movement in Israel Palestine, uniting Jewish and Palestinian citizens of Israel since 2015 to co-resist occupation and fight for peace, equality, and social justice. Standing Together is one of the most important opposition movements against the policies of the Israeli government and military on the ground.
Founded in November 2023 as part of the global Friends of Standing Together network, we welcome anyone who believes in universal human rights and co-resistance. Whether you want to join discussions, organize actions, or simply learn more, there’s a place for you in Friends of Standing Together Germany!

Together with Don’t look away e.V. we are fighting for the admission of injured children from Gaza in German hospitals More than 18,500 people, including around 4,000 children, need medical and psychological treatment that they currently cannot receive on-site. Additionally, it must be ensured that all patients and their companions can return home after treatment. We see this as our obligation as an open and values-based society. More Information here.

The best way to get started is by joining our WhatsApp community group here and taking part in one of our weekly online meetings. We usually meet on Sundays or Mondays at 7:00 PM to connect, exchange ideas, discuss ongoing projects, and plan upcoming events. The first meeting of each month is dedicated to the different working and regional groups, with each group presenting its ongoing activities and progress.
We also regularly host dedicated onboarding sessions for new members, making it easy to get to know the community and find ways to contribute.

Whether you’re looking to volunteer occasionally or become deeply involved, there’s a place for you here.
In addition to our online gatherings, the Berlin group aims to meet in person every 6–8 weeks. All meeting dates, locations, updates, and Zoom links are shared through the WhatsApp community.

Right now, we have six active working groups where you can contribute and get involved:
- Contacting Politicians For those interested in drafting letters and statements to politicians, media outlets, and institutions. Your work will support broader outreach efforts and provide ready-to-send materials for others to use. The group also hosts meetings with politicians and activists from Standing Together and from FoST Germany.
- Vigil / Mahnwache Berlin Join this team if you’d like to help organize and manage our weekly vigils in Berlin. Tasks include planning, on-site coordination, and ensuring the event runs smoothly and respectfully.
- Communication This group oversees our social media channels, website, and newsletter creation. Ideal for anyone with interest in digital content and online engagement.
- Gaza Care Bridgein collaboration with Don’t Look Away e.V. focuses on increasing political pressure through public engagement so that, in particular, children from Gaza and their guardians are ultimately allowed to enter Germany for the duration of their medical treatment.
- FoST Bavaria/Baden-Württemberg If you’re based in southern Germany and want to get involved locally, this group focuses on building and supporting activities in the Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg regions.
- FoST Hamburg/North If you’re based in northern Germany and want to get involved locally, this group focuses on building and supporting activities in Hamburg and northern regions.
From Nakba to Now: A Call for a Ceasefire, Human Rights, and Diplomatic Solutions in Israel Palestine
The unresolved conflict in the region has brought decades of suffering to civilians. The ongoing Nakba, the genocide in Gaza, the October 7 massacre, crimes against humanity by both the Israeli government and Hamas, the illegal occupation, and the criminalization of the Palestinian liberation movement demand urgent, honest debate—now more than ever. Germany’s historical and current role—including complicity in Israel’s warfare—must also face critical scrutiny and clear dissent. We believe in bridges, not walls. We stand for the protection of all lives—Jewish and Palestinian.
- A permanent and complete ceasefire on all fronts
- Comprehensive humanitarian aid for the people in Gaza
- Protection of Palestinians from displacement, settler violence, imprisonment
- An end to the occupation
- A lasting diplomatic solution for all people on the land, rooted in human rights.
We stand for:
- The enforcement of international law: The Israeli government/military and Hamas must be held accountable for the crimes they have committed.
- A critical examination of Germany’s historical and current role in Israeli policy and warfare, recognizing Palestinian suffering and resistance while ensuring the protection of Jewish life.
- The fight against the rise of fascism in Europe: opposing antisemitism, anti-Muslim racism, and societal division.
